The adjacent photo of Mary Jane Losty is the wife of Mr. & Mrs. Losty's son, Matthew J. Losty, of Halverstown, Kildare County Ireland.  Matthew J. Losty passed away in Ireland and in 1843 Mary Jane Losty (age 63) and her son Patrick  (age 18 seen below) immigrated to the United States.  Her son John Losty did not travel with them. Their story begins here
