Area  Attractions           St Charles is located in Arkansas County northeast of Pine Bluff between Cross Roads and Dewitt along Highway 1 on the banks of the White River near White River National Wildlife Refuge.  Among many of the local attractions  in our area, "Wings over The Prairie Festival & The World Championship Duck Calling Contest are held each year in Stuttgart and is only a hop and a skip from the dazzling nightlife at the Isle of Capri & Country Casino's in Helena,  Arkansas.

You don't have to be a hunter to enjoy the Wings Over The Prairie Festival. The week-long festivities include plenty of events for sportsmen and athletes - which attracts thousands of sportsmen each year from all over the United States.

Today's winner receives a prize package worth more than $15,000.
The only woman to ever win the contest was Pat Stephens of Stuttgart, Ark., in 1955 and 1956. The tradition continues in Stuttgart, Arkansas and is only 30 miles from Beaver Lake Lodges in St. Charles, Arkansas.
